The Oak Harbor Yacht Club (OHYC) proudly offers a fun and relaxed environment of camaraderie and sportsmanship. We promote an interest in boating and encourage boating-related activities, as well as social activities year-round! The OHYC continues the traditions of the original Deception Pass Boat Club, of which the OHYC is a direct descendant.
OHYC Hours of Operation and Monthly Activities. The OHYC lower level Clubhouse is open Wednesday through Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (closing time varies with the number of members present). Exceptions are usually Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks when the OHYC is closed. Check the monthly calendar included in the newsletter for any scheduled closures of the Clubhouse and bar.

Monthly Social Night. In addition to generous hours 4 days a week the Club generally hosts one or more special social events each month. Events include movie nights, poker or game nights, sports parties, special dining, live music and dancing, theme and holiday parties and educational presentations to name a few. Some events require pre-paid reservations by calling the Club Manager. The OHYC newsletter contains a calendar of activities.
Membership in the Oak Harbor Yacht Club. Membership Certificates are currently available! Our total membership is limited to 300 certificates (i.e. families). Dues for new member applicants are pro-rated based upon the date of your membership application being accepted at the Club.
Membership is open to all and boat ownership is not a requirement. The application process can take up to two months. During this time, we encourage applicants to visit the club, participate in the current activities and become acquainted with other members.
The Membership Chairperson and your sponsor will assist in the application process. If you do not personally know a current member/sponsor at the Oak Harbor Yacht Club, please contact the Membership Chair at email@example.com.
